PHCC Completes Indian River Dredging

Paul Howard Construction Company has completed dredging operations at the Indian River Inlet in Sussex, Delaware. PHCC had Ellicott Dredge Company in Baltimore, Maryland custom manufacture a Ellicott "670" Model to perform the project requirements.

Approximately 360,000 cubic yards of inlet shoals was dredged and used/pumped to fill scour holes in the Indian River. PHCC operated the dredge pumping material 24 hours a day minus fueling and shift changes to meet the U.S. Army Corps deadline of completion.Tom Yates was Project Manager, Joe Edgar was project superintendent, and Jack Evans was the dredge operator
